David Meadows says that HBO's Rome is being cancelled for next season!!!!

Why is it that every time there's a GOOD show on, they CANCEL it?! This is why I don't really watch TV anymore!

Well, part of it is just that I don't have time, but STILL.

Ah, the Universe is minxy and hates me. Eheu.

me thorubeite! hbo ordered a second season on sept. 12 because the ratings were boni et solidi - three million viewers for the first two episodes. don't panic - there was a general strike in italy some days ago (facciamo uno sciopero!), and the two may be associated. spes omnibus est.

nunc redi ad studiendum linguam Latinam!

Just keep an eye on the news page:

HBO has totally shot themselves in the foot, IMO. There is NOTHING ON right now. Nothing new, anyway. Which totally kills.

Yeah, but as I told Homo Edax earlier today, if it *were* true, I can't see HBO fessing up to it until everything was absolutely finalised. They just won't want to deal with the reaction until they absolutely have to.

I'm just really paranoid when it comes to shows I actually like. They always get CANCELLED.
